About Lindy

Lindy King has a wide-ranging knowledge of journalism and publicity and currently handles multiple business accounts through her company Link Social Media. A pet experimental project is State of Normal, an original thriller with over 17 characters that she created and wrote, and which is taking place entirely on social media.

Lindy is a former film journalist (SF Chronicle, Weekly Variety, LA Times) and former Public Affairs Director for K-101 Radio in San Francisco. She spent several years in L.A. working in senior development positions at Hemdale Films, Orion Pictures and Columbia Pictures. During that time, she had two screenplays optioned by independent film companies, and a children’s TV pilot, Foozle and Freud, optioned by Amblin Entertainment.  Moving back to the Bay Area with her family, she has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars as an event coordinator for various fundraising events, and has spent several years in the marketing and PR arena. She was an Obama precinct captain and event co-host, and is actively involved with local politics.
